Rob Osgood, MS, MBA

A dynamic healthcare leader, Rob Osgood joins the Hospice of New York family as Administrator after running the Massachusetts branch of the largest privately held home health, hospice, and palliative care agency in the country. Having also serving as a national leader for that entity, Rob worked with numerous hospices around the United States on process improvement, business development, and leadership enhancement.
A seasoned healthcare senior executive and Boston Business Journal “40 Under 40” recipient, Rob brings to HONY a progressive background in administrative and operational leadership. He employs a successful and consistent record of results-driven collaborative accomplishments in high-reliability organizations through infusion of pride and positivity, high-quality innovation, and operational excellence designed with patient service at the core. Beginning his career as a first responder-turned hospital administrator-turned national hospice leader and a communicator/orator of the first order, Rob's leadership approach and management skills have been sought internationally to provide consultation and insight for organizations ranging from municipalities to private industry, urban tertiary-care academic medical centers and hospices around the country.
 
A graduate of Saint Anselm College, Rob holds a Master of Business Administration from Suffolk University and, a Master of Science from Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He current serves on the faculty at Tufts University School of Medicine and The Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University. Rob’s academic training includes life sciences and fine arts, as well as crisis management and business administration. He serves on a variety of local, state, and national committees including the Hospice and Palliative Care Federation of Massachusetts Executive Board, Coalition for Serious Illness, and American College of Healthcare Executives.
