Thank You for Considering Making a Donation to Hospice!

Hospice of New York is an investor-owned company that does not have federal tax-exempt status. Therefore, the Hospice typically passes any donations received through to the Hospice and Palliative Care Association of New York State. The Association's mission is to promote the availability and accessibility of quality hospice and palliative care. Their work in education, community outreach and advocacy has helped make hospice services more accessible to all New Yorkers with life-limiting illnesses, including underserved populations such as veterans, pediatric patients, and individuals with developmental disabilities. More information is available at www.hpcanys.org. Donations intended for the Association should be made payable to ‘HPCANYS.’

If any donor prefers that his/her contribution remain locally and be utilized solely by Hospice of New York, the donation should be noted ‘Not Tax Deductible’ in the memo space on the check. Hospice of New York will then utilize such donations towards the continuing medical education of its clinical staff, and in particular towards helping all patient care staff obtain their certification in Hospice and Palliative Care. Donations intended for Hospice of New York should be made payable to ‘Hospice of New York.’
